New Belgian Champions Crowned at the 2024/25 Carlsberg 0.0 Hockey League Finals

Carlsberg 0.0 Hockey League has new Champions !

A new chapter has begun in Belgian hockey, as the 2024–2025 season of the Carlsberg 0.0 Hockey League came to an emotional and historic conclusion. With Braxgata crowned women’s champions and La Gantoise defending their title on the men’s side, the finals offered a spectacular ending to a season full of passion, strategy, and unforgettable moments.

In the Women’s League, Braxgata delivered two brilliant performances in the final to dethrone Gantoise, denying them a fifth consecutive title. With a 1–0 victory on Saturday and a solid 0–0 draw on Sunday, the team from Boom claimed their third national title after their previous wins in 2016 and 2017.

In the Men’s League, the finals were nothing short of a showcase for Belgian hockey at its very best. After two fiercely contested matches, La Gantoise finally triumphed against a resilient Léopold side in a dramatic shoot-out. Incredibly, the Brussels team managed to equalize in the final seconds of the second leg thanks to José Basterra, sending the game to shoot-outs at 2–3. But Gantoise kept their cool and secured a third consecutive title, and the fourth in the club’s history, in front of an ecstatic crowd in Antwerp.
